Levett and Wells Take Havasu

Don Levett and Dick Wells topped 28 teams at the Havasu Region Championship for the Weekend Warrior Bass Series presented by Anderson Toyota.  The team brought in back to back limits of bass weighing 33.87lbs.  The two reported catching all of their fish on grubs and robo worms throughout the lake.  Their catch for the weekend earned them $2,750.

Dropping one spot to finish 2nd overall was day 1 leaders of Charlie Crawford and Richard Vizcarra.  Charlie and Richard brought in back to back limits weighing 33.61lbs to take home a total of $2,020.

Rounding out the top 3 was the team of Mark Wilkinson and Keith Learn.  Mark and Keith also brought in back to back limits weighing 33.05lbs to take home a total of $720.

Big fish of the event went to the team of Andy Becker and Steve Reiter.  Andy and Steve brought in an 8.54lb largemouth earning them $420 for day 2 big fish.

The SPRO Pack for the smallest 5 fish limit without any penalties went to the team of Steve Lindner and Mike Hawkins.  Steve and Mike’s limit went 8.51lbs.
