Tassie and Hulsey win Havasu with 19+

The second event for the Havasu Region of the Weekend Warrior Bass Series presented by Anderson Toyota saw 38 teams from Arizona, California, and Nevada take to Lake Havasu.  After having a solid pre-fish the team of Paul Tassie and Mike Hulsey backed it up with a solid limit weighing 19.73lbs to take home the $1,800 first place prize.  Their winnings didn’t stop there as their bag was anchored by the days big fish.  The 6.21lb largemouth gave them an additional $200.  The pair also took home the $50 from Anderson Toyota for being the highest finishing team with the Anderson Toyota/Weekend Warrior contingency sticker on their tow vehicle bringing their total winnings to $2,050.

Second place and second big fish went to the team of Al Robinson and Craig McCoy.  Al and Craig’s 17.42lb limit was anchored by a 4.95lb largemouth earning them $1,200 for the day

Rounding out the top 3 were last years anglers of the year.  Larry Locatis and Austin Rojas brought in a limit weighing 15lbs even to take home $870 for the day.

The SPRO pack for the smallest 5 fish limit without any penalties went to the team of Jim and Dawn Hicks.  Jim and Dawn had the smallest limit of teams that were present at the awards

This circuit would not be possible without the help of our great sponsors.  Anderson Toyota, SPRO, and A&M Graphics.
