The final event for the Arizona Region of the Weekend Warrior Bass Series presented by Anderson Toyota saw 71 teams take off out onto Roosevelt Lake. Taking the win was the team of Joe Wheeler and Derrick Amerson bringing in a limit weighing 18.68lbs anchored by a 7.58lb largemouth which was the days big fish. They reported catching their fish on jigs and sight fishing to take home a total of $2,900.
Second place and $1,600 went to the team of Greg Hines and Steve Watson. Greg and Steve weighed 17.20lbs for the day.
Rounding out the top 3 was the team of Mike Reynolds and Creston Carroll. Mike and Creston brought in a limit weighing 16.94lbs to take home $1,300. They also earned an additional $100 for having the days second place big fish.
The SPRO pack for the smallest 5 fish without any penalties went to the team of Rich and Sue Pratt. Rich and Sue had a limit weighing 5.18lbs.
This being the final event of the season for the Arizona Region, the anglers of the year were decided. Taking the honors this year was the team of Daniel Uptain and Jarett Coleman. Daniel and Jaret finished the season with 764.60 points.
