The fifth event for the Havasu Region of the Weekend Warrior Bass Series presented by Anderson Toyota saw 26 teams head out onto a calm and cool Lake Havasu. Taking the win was former Anglers of the Year Jeff Woods and Dennis Phelps. Jeff and Dennis brought in a limit of fish weighing 18.51lbs earning them $1,400. They also earned an additional $50 for being the highest finishing team with the WWBS/Anderson Toyota contingency sticker on their tow vehicle.
Second place went o the team of Matt Williams and Julian Presley. Matt and Julian brought in a limit weighing 17.87lbs to earn $960. There catch was anchored by the days second biggest bass earning them an additional $100 bringing their total to $1,060.
Rounding out the top 3 was Ted Stewner and Al Carlson. Ted and Al weighed in 17.73lbs of smallmouth to take home $700.
Big fish of the event went to Jeff and David Meeks. Their 5.29lb largemouth earned them $200.
Clint Goodwin took home a tackle pack of Panic Minnows courtesy of Paul Tassie for being first out of the money.
Rick Francis and Joe Pena took home the SPRO pack for being weighing the smallest 5 fish limit without any penalties.

Early registration will take place at Anderson Toyota from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday March 9. Teams wishing to be entered into the early draw must sign up by 6:00 on Friday night.
